Join the 2nd Annual Cherry Street Beer Fest & Cornhole Tournament!

Mark your calendars for the 2nd Annual Cherry Street Beer Fest & Cornhole Tournament to benefit the Forsyth County Humane Society.  The event takes place on Saturday, April 29th from 2 to 8 pm in the Vickery Village Courtyard.

The festival features a Kids Zone, live music, arts and crafts and much more.

“We are looking forward to a great event.  Last year’s festival was attended by over 1200 folks.  In collaboration with our sponsors and festival attendees we raised $5000 for the Forsyth County Humane Society No Kill Shelter.  This year we hope to raise even more funds for this worthy cause,” explained Nick Tanner, brewmaster at Cherry Street Taproom and event organizer.

Over 40 brews will be available at the event – from new brews to Taproom favorites.  Vickery Village businesses and restaurants are joining the festivities and featuring their products and services.  Live music begins at 2 pm: Brennan Johnson 2-3:15 pm; Honeywood – 3:30 pm -5:15 pm; and, Dead Affect – 5:30 pm-8 pm.

“The Village has seen tremendous growth recently.  This is a great opportunity for beer fest guests to see all that we right here in Forsyth County!” Tanner added.
